What inspires you? Perhaps it is encountering something that astonishes and delights, like the Emperor Penguin.
Well-adapted to their extreme Antarctic environment, these penguins huddle together in large groups to conserve warmth, while balancing and incubating an egg on their feet. Amazing!
This beautiful bird is an appropriate choice for our Adaptation Fund campaign, because it illustrates the powerful results that can be achieved when everyone works toward a common goal. Right now, we need your help to reach ours:
We must raise $130,000 by December 31 to make ends meet.
Please consider making a tax-deductible gift to the Museum. Simply send a check to P.O. Box 3937, Wilmington, DE 19807-0937 or click the "Contribute Today" link at the top or bottom of this page.
It’s fun, exciting and important to learn about the natural world. At a time when many students struggle to achieve proficiency in science, the Museum consistently provides enriching nature and science programs and the inspiration to explore some more. A day at the Museum can be a life-changing encounter.
With your help, we’ll continue offering the Nature Nook, school field trips, outreach programs, Summer Camps, Homeschool classes, Scout Badge Workshops and teacher in-service training. And, we’ll present fascinating exhibits like Bugs: Outside the Box and Titanoboa: Monster Snake.
